The Church at Corinth

Teacher:
Passage: 1 Corinthians 1:1-3

1COR01

1 Corinthians is not just an ancient letter but a living mirror, written to a church planted in the middle of moral chaos—a wealthy, entertainment-driven, and immoral city much like our world today. Paul calls these believers, many saved out of deep sin, “sanctified” and “saints,” showing that in Christ we are positionally holy even as we grow in practical holiness. As we walk through its themes—unity, holiness, marriage, liberty, worship, and resurrection—we’re confronted with the same issues Corinth faced and called to “walk worthy” by rejecting worldliness and living out what we are in Christ.
