Luke 8:26–40 shows a man completely devastated by demonic possession until a single encounter with Jesus brings total deliverance and transformation, displaying Christ’s absolute authority over all spiritual forces. This mirrors our own condition before salvation—dead in sin and captive to darkness—until Christ set us free. Jesus then sends the healed man to tell others what God has done, reminding us that every believer is called to share their testimony and live missionally wherever God has placed them.
