A man saved for years to take a cruise. He brought peanut butter sandwiches because he thought the food cost extra. On day five, a porter told him: all meals are included in your ticket. That's how many believers live — not realizing all that's already theirs in Christ.

In this closing message on Ephesians chapter 1 from our series "Fullness," Pastor Ron opens Ephesians 1:15–23 and walks through Paul's prayer for the church — that believers would know who they are in Christ and live accordingly.

The Mark of the Church — Faith and Love: The double mark of every genuine believer is faith in Jesus Christ and love for Christ's people. You can't claim to love God and be indifferent to His kids.

Paul's Prayer — Four Petitions: Paul prays that we would know God more deeply, know the hope of His calling (the full weight of our salvation), know the riches of our future inheritance, and know the surpassing greatness of His power toward us — the same power that raised Jesus from the dead.

The Power We Already Have: Four Greek words for power appear in one verse — dunamis, energeo, kratos, and ischus. The point isn't subtle: we don't need to pray for more power. We need to appropriate the power already given. We are, as Romans 8:37 puts it, hupernikeo — surpassing victors.

The Work of the Church — His Body on Earth: Christ is the head; we are the body. He has chosen to work through His people — which is either humbling or mind-blowing, depending on your day. Either way, He's made no other plan. He's counting on us.
